Insect Cloisonné Tea Lights

Butterflies, ladybugs, and other shimmering creatures dance on these lovely tea lights, handcrafted using a unique approach to the ancient Chinese art of cloisonné. Instead of the traditional copper or metal base, fine gold-plated wires are intricately attached to a glass base. The cells or “cloisons” formed by the wiring are then filled with colored enamels, and the piece is fired and compounded to a polished finish. The glass base gives the piece a light, delicate appearance, and creates a marvelous translucent effect. Each tea light holder comes in a green cloth box. 3 1/4" H x 4" W
