Henry Moore Note Cards: Sheep Sketches
Henry Moore’s studio in the English countryside overlooked fields where a farmer grazed his sheep. Moore was fascinated by their shapes, discerning the individual character of each sheep underneath all the wool. Three of Moore’s tender, vigorous drawings of sheep, from a sketchbook originally presented to his daughter, Mary, in 1972, are reproduced on these note cards. The New York Botanical Garden logo and details of each image are printed on the back of the cards.
Set of 9 note cards (4¾” x 6½”), 3 each of 3 images, 10 envelopes.
