These eye-catching choker necklaces are each made of 12 strands of seeds from plants common to the Amazon rain forest. The round, luminescent seeds of the black choker are small sororoca seeds from the Brazilian acacia and larger seeds from the saboneteira fruit.The carved round and lozenge-shaped seeds of the white choker are creamy açaí seeds from an Amazonian palm. The vibrant red choker is made of tento seeds, which are widely used in native craft work in the Amazon. These seeds come from a very small bean that curls open and projects its seeds when ripe. Do not get this red necklace wet. All the beads are strung on waxed thread and separated by tiny carved tucumã seeds. A sustainable natural treasure from the Amazon in a Monica Carvalho design.
