Moore in America Sketchbook: Sheep Study
Henry Moore’s studio in the English countryside overlooked fields where a farmer grazed his sheep. Moore was fascinated by their shapes, discerning the individual character of each sheep underneath all the wool. One of Moore’s sheep portraits, from a sketchbook originally presented to his daughter, Mary, in 1972, is reproduced on the cover of this handsome sketchbook.
The sketchbook is double wire-o bound for easy page removal and measures 7” H x 10” W. It contains 90 unlined sheets of flecked paper.
