This exquisite silk scarf features details from the illustration of Amaryllis Josephinae in Les Liliacées (1802-1816) by Pierre-Joseph Redouté, one of the world's most celebrated botanical artists. Les Liliacées is a monumental work that recorded all the plants grown at Empress Joséphine's Château Malmaison, Napoleon and Joséphine's favorite residence and a horticultural showcase. Fit for an empress, the scarf is hand silk-screened on pure silk twill. 36" square. Dry clean only.
