NYBG Coast of Coromandel File Folders

These cream colored file folders are decorated with images of the charming white flowers and fresh green leaves of the Indian plant Dipterocarpus turbinatus. The splendid botanical illustration is from Plants of the Coast of Coromandel, a rare and beautiful early 19th-century work depicting plants that grow on the broad coastal plain of the Bay of Bengal. Who knew filing could be so pleasurable?
