NYBG Dendrobium fimbriatum Note Cards

The striking portrait of Dendrobium fimbriatum oculatum on these note cards is a reproduction of a colored lithograph by Walter Hood Fitch, from Robert Warner's Select Orchidaceous Plants, a rare 19th-century work on orchids. Fitch's spectacular illustrations helped fuel the orchid mania that overtook Europe in the 19th century.
