NYBG Garden Benches Silk Ties

Our very own beautiful garden benches silk ties feature details from Designs for Tasteful Garden Huts and Ornaments (1837), by the Viennese architect and designer Benedict Piringer (1780-1826). The bench designs on our ties are typical of the rustic garden ornament style so popular in the 19th century—and still popular today. In America, this look would become known as "Adirondack style." Pure silk twill.
