NYBG Redouté Rose Placemats

Damask, Gallica, and other old-fashioned roses adorn these beautiful yet practical placemats. The exquisite images are from Les Roses, by Pierre-Joseph Redouté, the most accomplished botanical illustrator of the late 18th and early 19th century.

Sturdily made to last, the cork-backed placemats can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. The set comes elegantly packaged in a custom New York Botanical Garden box with silver foil stamping. An insert provides information on the original work of botanical art from the Rare Book Collections of the Mertz Library here at the Garden.
