Set of Bird High Ball Glasses

The New York Botanical Garden in association with Lunt Silversmiths, a leader in innovative design, has developed a distinctive collection of tableware, decorative accessories, and gifts inspired by some of the finest examples of botanical art in the Rare Book Collections of the Garden’s LuEsther T. Mertz Library. These exquisitely crafted pieces combine beautiful 18th-century botanical imagery with a modern sensibility.

The blue heron, the little white heron, the Bahama titmouse, and the mock-bird are featured on these stylish high ball glasses. The images are from illustrations by the remarkable English naturalist and artist Mark Catesby in his Natural History of Carolina, Florida, and the Bahama Islands (London: 1754).
