This title is monograph 19 in the Flora Neotropica series. This study includes all of the 28 known species of Trigoniaceae, 26 of which occur in the Neotropics. The author regards this as a preliminary survey of the family, for which this is the first comprehensive treatment in more than 100 years. The taxonomic position of the genus Euphronia has been reconsidered.
