Traditional hand-carved and painted folk art from the Mexican state of Oaxaca, alebrijes were first created by Mexican artist Pedro Linares in the 1930's, and were then collected by Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera. These alebrijes were all made by the Gonzalez family, based in the Oaxacan town of San Antonio Arrazola.
Please note: each alebrije is one of a kind. Colors and designs will vary. Sold invidually.
