This stoneware coaster set features design details from Traite du jardinage selon les raisons de la nature et de l'art (1638) by Jacques Boyceau de la Baraudire, from NYBG's LuEsther T. Mertz Library, a world-renowned botanical library and a treasury of knowledge about all aspects of the plant world. The coasters feature a chisled edge for an old-world appearance, and their unique stoneware composition continuously absorbs moisture from beverage condensation. A cork back secures the coaster in place and protects furniture surfaces from scratching.
