A revision of the genus \u003ci\u003eRhodostemonodaphne\u003c\/i\u003e is presented. The genus comprises 41 species of dioecious Lauraceae with stamens bearing four locelli situated in a shallow arch towards the apex of the anthers. The variation in vegetative and reproductive morphology is discussed. Generic and species descriptions are provided, with a list of exsiccatae, species illustrations, and distribution maps.
