Pleurocarpous Mosses of the West Indies. Mem (82)
For those of us who live where winter brings ice and snow, the fragrantly scented tropical breezes of the Caribbean hold a special appeal. So, too, do the organisms that occur there. This volume is a treatment of the pleurocarpous mosses of Bermuda, the Bahamas, and the West Indies, including 30 families, 125 genera, and 254 sepcies. Keys, illustrations, and detailed descriptions are included, as well as range information and interesting observations ("discussions") by the author on most taxa.
